Christmas in Cornelius is a fun festival taking place Sunday, December 5th, 2021, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Cornelius Town Hall, 21445 Catawba Avenue, Cornelius.
We’ve put together a huge day-by-day list of holiday events in the Charlotte area, including parades, markets, Santa visits, tree lightings, Hanukkah parties, Kwanzaa celebrations and more! We are updating it every day.
The festival features:
- Live bands
- Christmas carols and choirs
- Food trucks
- Craft breweries
- Kids’ holiday activities
- A visit from Santa
- More than 80 local artists and crafts people
Santa will be there from 1 to 4 p.m. The Letters to Santa station, with letters and crayons provided, will be open all day at The Peddler.
Frosty the Snowman will be there from 1 to 3 p.m.
Live music and dance performances all day!

Parking for Christmas in Cornelius
You can park anywhere in the town center. Overflow parking will be at Cornelius Elementary School, 21126 Catawba Avenue, Cornelius.
