Monthly Open Shops are back! Starting Saturday, August 6th from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm and continuing on the first Saturday of every month, come hang out with Charlotte Re-Cyclery after hours at the ReCyclery! Open Shop hours provide educational opportunities to members of our Charlotte community. Come with questions, leave with answers!
Each month, one of the members of the mechanics team will provide instructions (hands on or lecture style) on simple repair and basic maintenance. Subjects covered will include things like flat fix repair, basic lubrication of your chain and drivetrain components, how to use barrell adjustors, best practices for commuting, touring basics, etc! Please note, they are unable to offer repair services during Open Shops. This initiative is designed to help educate and empower the CLT bike community through instruction only.
