Charlotte Mecklenburg Library holds Community Book Sales throughout the year. These sales are a great way to find new and gently used books for yourself and for gifts. Fiction, non-fiction and children’s materials are available.
Pricing starts at $1 and goes up to $8.
Cookbooks, coffee table books, and other larger formats range from $8.00 – $25.00. Methods of payment accepted are cash, credit, and debit.
Donations of your excess books are welcome for the sales, and you can drop a box or two off at any Charlotte Mecklenburg Library.

All of these sales take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please check Charlotte Mecklenburg Library’s page on the sales, to make sure there haven’t been any changes. Some of these book sales have special themes, assuming that the library has enough books with the theme.
