Charlotte Blues Society presents a blues show the first Sunday of every month, at The Rabbit Hole in Plaza Midwood, 1801 Commonwealth Avenue. Note that in February it takes place the second Sunday, because of the Super Bowl.
February 10: Lipbone Redding

The Charlotte Blues Society proudly announces its February Blues Sunday Bash on 10th February, 2019, featuring Lipbone Redding. A one-man band, Lipbone has shared the stage with many of the greats and is sure to entertain. Note that the date has been set back one week so the Super Bowl wouldn’t have to face the competition.
The event will be held at the Rabbit Hole, 1801 Commonwealth Ave., Charlotte, NC 28205. Doors at 7:00, music at 8:00, to be followed by an open blues jam. Admission is free for current members with CBS Membership card and just $5.00 for non-members.
Charlotte Blues Society is collecting for Loaves & Fishes through 2019. Please bring at least 1 can non-perishable food item to every event.
Cans of any variety:
- Pasta (spaghetti O’s, Mac & Cheese)
- Cooking oil
- Paper towels
- Toilet tissue
- Tooth paste
- Tooth brushes
- The packs of plastic utensils you get with takeout food.
