Charlotte Art League is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit that offers a mix of open working studios, classes, and community outreach programs, as well as public galleries.
In the studios you’ll see artists who work in many media, including paint, photography, fiber, reclaimed materials, and more.
In addition, there’s a separate area with Digital Arts Accelerator studios, for artists who are working in podcasting, videography and more.

Its new home is at 4237 Raleigh Street, Charlotte, NC. It’s next door to The Independent Picture House, in the Trailhead District. It’s near the corner of Sugar Creek and Tryon Streets (where Asian Corner Mall is), a mile and a half from the heart of NoDa and, .3 miles from the Sugar Creek Station on the LYNX Blue Line (a 6-8 minute walk.) There’s ample free parking.

Conversations with Nature “unearthed” Things emerge, and we cause things to emerge. We birth, but we also excavate and extract. Our neural networks are trained on emergence, brains constructing a complete picture from any half-baked stimulus as if we want the world to be made whole. The first signs of spring shoot up and down, a push of root and pull to the light. The bird from the egg from the bird before. It’s a very human condition. Archeological. Vast. A desire for clear, firm answers. For consecration. Join us at The Charlotte Art League’s new location on 4237 Raleigh Street. Opening Reception on July 1 from 7-9pm. Featuring new work by: Joann Galarza Vega, Rebecca Jones, Kimberly McFadden, Elisa Sanchez, Nicole Schoepflin, and poetry by Joy Surles.
