Change Please Coffee, inside Innovation Barn at 932 Seigle Avenue, Charlotte, North Carolina, offers people who have struggled with homelessness training as baristas.
Former trainees have secured employment with partners like UNC Charlotte and Novant Health.
They have a new cohort of barista trainees and that’s where you come in!
On Friday, October 31, 2025, come to the Innovation Barn between 9 and 11 a.m. for a free espresso drink! You can enjoy a delicious drink while helping the new baristas get some practice. (I’m sure tips are appreciated!)
