Camp North End, 1824 Statesville Avenue, is presenting drive-in movies on select Thursdays in November and December.
The cost for Skyline Drive-in Movies is $30 per car, of which a portion benefits service organizations in the North End community, including Crisis Assistance Ministries, Salvation Army Center of Hope, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Roof Above.
Gates open at 6 p.m and the movies will be shown at 7 p.m.
- Thursday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. – Forrest Gump (PG-13)
- Thursday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. – Miracle (PG)
- Thursday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. – Frozen (PG)
- Thursday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. – Little Women (2019, PG)
- Thursday, Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. – Elf (PG)
The screen will be located on the northwest corner of our Statesville Avenue parking lot, and an FM radio transmitter will be used for viewers to tune-in to the sound from their car. Cars will be directed to enter at the Camp North End entrance at the intersection of Statesville Avenue and Sylvania Drive.
Masks are required when you’re outside of your car. In the case of inclement weather the movie will move indoors and attendees should bring chairs. Weather-based decisions will be communicated 24 hours in advance.
How early can I arrive? What time does the show start?
Gates officially open at 6pm. Show starts at 7pm ET. Please plan to be parked in your space by 7:00pm.
What health precautions will the venue staff be taking? Will I be required to wear a mask?
Venue staff will wear masks and all attendees are required to wear masks when outside of their vehicles. Cars will be spaced to allow for social distancing when outside the vehicle.
Will there be restrooms and concessions available?
Venue restrooms will be available. Masks are required upon leaving your vehicle to use the restroom.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Yes, but we would rather encourage you to support Camp North End’s small businesses.
Can I leave early?
You will be permitted to leave early but please be respectful and cognizant of other attendees and their movie experience.
Is this a rain or shine event?
Yes, however, weather conditions may impact the event location (to protect the sensitive film screening equipment). If we need to switch the location indoors due to inclement weather, we will communicate that decision 24 hours in advance.
If the film is moved inside, do I need to do anything?
Your tickets will transfer automatically. Please be prepared to bring a chair for each person in your party. We will remind you to bring chairs when a weather-related decision is communicated 24 hours in advance.
If the film is moved inside due to weather and I no longer wish to attend, can I get a refund?
No. Ticket proceeds from the film series will benefit service organizations in the North End, so refunds will not be issued if the film is moved inside.
