Saturday, September 23rd, and Sunday, September 24th, a block on Belmont Avenue will be transformed. It’s part of the Better Block Project, which challenges neighbors to re-imagine what their neighborhoods can be like. Belmont received a grant from Dallas-based Better Block Foundation, and residents volunteered many hours in order to make it happen.
The weekend’s activities will center around 923 Belmont Avenue, at the intersection with Harrill Street.
Belmont Avenue Better Block will take place on Saturday, from 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
