Age 18+Get ready for this year’s “Inktober”, the annual online – social media fest of one-a-day ink drawing marathons in October, with Arts+! During this FREE 5 hour workshop, participants will explore a wide variety of materials and strategies for working with ink on paper. Starting with traditional methods for applying India ink with pen and brush, then branching out into acrylic and alcohol based inks and exciting new alternative tools and processes, we will play fast and loose with this most basic and versatile of drawing media.
Join our group and get motivated to take on the Inktober challenge! We will work together to build a prompt list for our daily drawings, share ideas and strategies for getting time at the drawing board every day, and make a pact to finish out the upcoming October drawing marathon in style! No prior advanced drawing knowledge is required, but a willingness to try new materials and have fun is strongly encouraged.
