
On the first Thursday of the month, the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, at 551 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, North Carolina, is presenting ArtBreak, a free lunchtime tour.
On June 5, 2025, from 12 to 12:30 p.m., artist Alvin C. Jacobs, Jr., will lead a tour exploring June’s theme, “Freedom in Black and White,” inspired by the Gantt’s current exhibition, “Black Behind Bars: The Untold Story of Black Biker Culture.”

- 1st Thursdays – Harvey B. Gantt Center
- 2nd Thursdays – Bechtler Museum of Modern Art (beginning July 10)
- 3rd Thursdays – Mint Museum (but not on June 19)
