The popular Art After Dark program returns to Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture.
On Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 7 to 11 p.m., the Gantt Center is hosting Art After Dark: Family Reuinion. This event is for ages 21+.
Join the Gantt Center for a night of fun & nostalgic family reunion vibes, in partnership with Mad Miles Run Club.
Experience community, culture, and creativity like never before at Art After Dark: Family Reunion — an unforgettable evening celebrating connection, movement, and Black expression in all its forms. In partnership with the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture and Mad Miles Run Club, this special edition of the Gantt’s signature seasonal series brings together art lovers, runners, creatives, and community members for a night that feels like the ultimate family cookout meets cultural celebration.
Set against the backdrop of the Gantt’s inspiring exhibitions, guests can vibe to sounds from multiple DJs, hit the dance floor for line dancing, compete in a variety of games including spades and Minute to Win It challenges, and participate in interactive workshops designed to spark creativity and connection. Capture the moment at the photo backdrop, enjoy custom screen-printing by MacFly Fresh, and gather for an intimate storytelling activation exploring culture, community, and collective joy.
