Adoptable Dogs Chess Tournament at Lenny Boy Brewing Oct. 25

Furever Snacks is presenting a family-friendly chess tournament, Check Mates, on October 25, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Lenny Boy Brewing, 3000 S Tryon Street, Charlotte, North Carolina.

They’ll be printing custom adoptable dog chess pieces for this tournament. You can even get a custom 3D printed chess piece of your own dog!

The only cost to play is a donation to support local rescues, including South Charlotte Dog Rescue and Halfway There Rescue.

• Kids / Family-Friendly Division – $5 donation. Top 3 winners earn a custom 3D printed trophy + a special 3D print prize
• Intermediate & Advanced Divisions – $20 donation. Winners take home a Lenny Boy Brewing gift card + cash prize
• Family Pass – $25 donation. Allows families to play across multiple divisions (kids + adults).
• Special Add-On! – Get a custom 3D printed chess piece of your own dog to take home. One-time cost: $30, with proceeds donated to local rescues.
