Creative Mornings is an international organization that is devoted to connecting the creative communities in cities around the world. Each month attendees gather to enjoy coffee, friendly people, some free breakfast food, and to enjoy inspiring talks by other creative people.
Each month there’s a global theme, but each city’s chapter interprets it in a different way. And, although Creative Mornings is about creativity, this doesn’t mean it’s just about artists. Creativity in all arenas — businesses, non-profits, engineering — is explored and celebrated.
Creative Mornings is in 255 cities in 70 countries.
March 6th Creative Mornings Charlotte
The next Creative Mornings Charlotte takes place Friday, March 6, 2026, from 8 to 10 a.m., at Independent Picture House, 4237 Raleigh Street, Charlotte, North Carolina. It’s free to attend, but you need to register and space is limited.
The featured speaker is Giovanna Torres, cultural producer and arts leader based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Cine Casual, a media-arts organization advancing Latin American cinema as a tool for cultural connection, civic dialogue, and community building.
Since founding the organization in 2020, Giovanna has developed year-round, bilingual programming that includes curated screenings, public conversations, educational initiatives, professional development for artists, and the Charlotte Latino Film Festival, now entering its third edition.
