Students and their families are invited to the 6th Annual “Momma I Don’t Want To Go To College” Skill and Trade Expo.
This expo is free to attend and takes place Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Sugaw Creek Recreation Center, 943 W Sugar Creek Road, Charlotte, North Carolina. Please make sure to RSVP.
Families can learn about alternative pathways to success, emphasizing the value of local community colleges, associate degree programs and career-focused education.
Families can learn about:
- Skilled trades and technical careers
- Community college and associate degree pathways
- Apprenticeships, paid training, and on-the-job learning
