The 12th annual Rowan Chamber Dragon Boat Festival takes place Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Shrine Club at High Rock Lake, 6480 Long Ferry Road, Salisbury, North Carolina. This is about 45 miles to the northeast of Charlotte.
Admission is FREE.
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Pets, coolers and outside food are not permitted.
Food trucks will be on site and there will be vendors and family-friendly activities.
Parking will be available for $10, or preferred parking for $20 (proceeds benefit East Rowan High School). Carpooling is encouraged. Trolley and shuttle vans will provide transportation between parking areas and the Shrine Club property.
Boats are welcome to view from the main channel or can dock behind the Shrine Club to enjoy the food and festivities.
