The first ever BOOM Fall Fringe Festival features some of the best-received shows from the last 2 annual BOOM Charlotte festivals.
BOOM Fall Fringe takes place October 3 and 4, 2026, at VAPA Center, 700 N Tryon Street, Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Saturday: 6 to 11 p.m.
- Sunday: 12 to 7:30 p.m.

BOOM Fall Fringe is a showcase of ticketed, indoor performances of original local art, such as experimental theater, dance, comedy, and everything in between.
Staged in intimate venues where the audience is close enough to touch, it’s built for artists who take risks and audiences who are seeking art experiences that are deep, moving, and often challenging.
It’s an opportunity to experience the depth, diversity and originality of the art that’s been created here, and to meet the brilliant artists who are pushing our cultural scene forward.

7:30 p.m.: Follow the Glow by Svetlitsa (LED performance, dance and theatrical art)
7:30 p.m.: Sweat Transfer (original music and projection)
Sunday, October 4
1 p.m.: Born Under an Azalea Bush: An Ode to Southern Gothicism by Sade Sade (poetic storytelling and imagery)
2:15 p.m.: Two Selves (Dance, music, performance, text)
3:30 p.m.: A Secret Third Thing (Poetry, comedy adn storytelling)
5:30 p.m.: Showcase — Memories of Peru by Angela Castillo & Mauricio Salas (dance) and Build A Man by Frank Expression (poetry)
