Charlotte Museum of History, 3500 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina, is presenting Voices of Liberty: Spoken Word & Storytelling Night on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Admission is $5. Free for members.
Voices of Liberty is inspired by the United States’ semi-quincentennial and led by four local poets.
Through the performance of original pieces, artists will explore the complicated themes of freedom, belonging, identity, and the pursuit of happiness. Following each performance, guests will be invited into facilitated conversations, creating spaces for both reflection and dialogue.
Whether you come to listen or to share, Voices of Liberty invites you to both consider America’s founding principles and what it means to pursue them today.
