Maman, New York City’s French-inspired all-day café and bakery is opening of its first location in Charlotte, North Carolina. Located at 1717 Commonwealth Avenue, Suite 170, in Plaza Midwood, maman’s newest location will feature its fan-favorite salads, sandwiches, and made-famous-by-Oprah Nutty Chocolate Chip Cookies to the Queen City.

The grand opening takes place Wednesday, May 20, 2026, with an 8 a.m. ribbon cutting.

First 100 guests get a free tote bag and classic chocolate chip cookie with purchase
Starting at 1 p.m., the first 50 guests who spend $15 or more at maman get a free croissant charm from Carolina Charm (who will be onsite for the afternoon)

Maman will be introducing two new pastries exclusively to Charlotte:

Peaches & Cream Danish ($6): Flaky croissant filled with peach, vanilla cream and topped with a honey-oat crumble.
Mac & Cheese Croissant ($6): Homemade mac and cheese with scallions baked in a flaky croissant, garnished with parsley.
