Charlotte Re-Cyclery fixes and sells bikes at 812 Atando Avenue, Charlotte, North Carolina, to raise money for Trips for Kids, an organization that brings bike-riding to kids. Kids can go on bike rides, learn safety and bike maintenance and even earn their own bike to keep.
At Charlotte Re-Cyclery you can buy a used bike, or bring your bike in for repairs, knowing that it’s all going toward an excellent cause — sharing bike riding with kids.
Charlotte Re-Cyclery is holding its first garage sale on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (We know that the image above says 11 a.m., no early birds, but in this more recent post, they say 10 a.m. We are trying to clarify.)
You can get some great deals and support the community at the same time.

- Bag sale on cycling gear and shoes!!! – $20/bag.
- Basic wheels/parts -bogo
- Car racks/trainers $10-20
- As-is bike projects! Mostly $20-$50
- New maintenance bicycle repair stands-$20
