
Charlotte Studio Artists is a collaborative studio and exhibit space for artists across a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, collage and assemblage. They are partnering with the Johnston YMCA in an effort to further the arts in NoDa.
Find them at 3045 N. Davidson Street, Charlotte, North Carolina. They are on the Johnston YMCA campus. Just look for the little building next to the big building.

Bring your current art project and connect through art during this creative meet-up. Event is free, but a $5 donation is suggested to cover materials and resources provided.
Opening Reception for 250 Years of Becoming: The American Journey

“250 Years of Becoming” is an exhibition that reflects on how the United States continues to evolve. Come and explore the nation’s past, present, and future through creative interpretations of this theme.
The exhibition will be shared through July 11, 2026.
The exhibition will explore:
- The evolution of American identity
- Immigration, expansion, and cultural influence
- Social and political movements that shaped the nation
- Past struggles, present realities, and future possibilities

Jay Ward, Poet Laureate of Charlotte, will be here for a poetry reading and talkback with the audience.
Select artists participating in the 250 Years of Becoming exhibit will also be on-hand to share their insights and discuss their works.
