TreesCharlotte is offering a free Twilight Nature Walk on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at Daniel Stowe Conservancy, 6500 South New Hope Road, Belmont, North Carolina. Meet at The Trailhead Store, where you can buy snacks and beverages.
This is a free event, but registration is required and space is limited. You don’t have to pay garden admission. The walk takes place on the trails outside the garden. Register at the above link.
TreesCharlotte’s Urban Forest Educator and Stowe’s experienced staff will guide participants through the beautiful grounds at Daniel Stowe Conservancy just before sunset.
During this immersive experience, you’ll learn about native trees, their unique characteristics, and the relationships they share with local wildlife and the surrounding ecosystem.
Whether you’re new to tree ID or a seasoned nature lover, this walk is a great opportunity to ask questions, discover something new, and leave with a deeper appreciation for the trees and wildlife around us.
