TCBY University Town Center Plaza, 8550 University City Boulevard, is celebrating its grand opening on Saturday, November 12th, 2011. Their doors open at 11am. They posted on their Facebook page that they’ll be giving away free frozen yogurt all day Saturday. Also the first 500 customers receive TCBY gift cards.
TCBY Matthews, at 3116 Weddington Road, is celebrating its Grand Opening on Saturday, September 10th, from 11am to 10pm. Everyone will get a FREE cup of yogurt. In addition, the first 1,000 customers will receive a gift card. The value will range from $1 to $25. Good luck!

On Thursday, June 23rd, TCBY Wesley Chapel will be one of the first TCBY locations in the country to offer a new product, Yovana, Simply Yogurt. Yovana is a chilled, fresh-served yogurt product that is prepared daily, served in cups and parfaits, and coupled with TCBY’s expansive toppings bar.

Macaroni Kid South Charlotte and TCBY Blakeney are teaming up to offer some fun an treats to kids while they’re off school Friday.
Friday, March 18th, from 11am to 1pm and from 5pm to 7pm, there will be crafts and Silly Bandz trading. Kids under 5 get a 3oz kiddie cup for free, and kids 5 and up get buy one get one free frozen yogurt.

TCBY is rolling out a new frozen yogurt called Super Fro-Yo, which has some nutritional benefits over other frozen yogurt. These are the guidelines:
• Calories: Does not exceed 120 calories
• Dietary Fiber: Must have a minimum of 3 grams
• Protein: Must have a minimum of 4 grams
• Probiotics: Must have a minimum of 7 types
• Minimum 20% DVA of vitamin D, and 10% DVA of vitamin A
• Active Cultures: Must have a minimum 20 billion live active cultures after manufacturing
• Saturated Fat: Does not exceed 2 grams
To celebrate Super Fro-Yo, and to also to celebrate spring, several Charlotte area TCBY locations are giving away free samples of Super Fro-Yo on Sunday, March 20th. In addition, a percentage of proceeds from purchases that day will go to the local school of the purchaser’s choice.
