Free Home Depot Kids Workshop 6/4/11

DIY kids will enjoy a free project at Home Depot on Saturday, June 4th, 2011, 9am to 12pm.

Home Depot has kids creating a valet. I am not 100% sure what a valet is, but it’s definitely not the guy who parks your car. It looks like a place to put things. I find it very attractive and I have a lot of things. If your kid makes one and you don’t want it, I’d be happy to find a place for it, no questions asked.

Free Home Depot kids’ project 1/1/11: build battery organizer

If your New Year Resolution is to get organized, then start by bringing your kids to Home Depot’s Kids Workshop on Saturday, January 1st, at 11am, where they can build a battery organizer. It’s free.

If you normally do attend these workshops, please note that the time is 11am (instead of 10am) because of the holiday. Need to let the kids sleep off all that sparkling cider.

Free kid projects at Michael’s, Lowes and Home Depot 12/5

Here’s a chance for your kids to make Christmas presents. And the projects are free to do.

Michaels: Kids can make holiday cards, stockings, and trinket boxes from 10AM to 1PM.

Home Depot: Make a wooden wagon, from 9AM to noon.

Lowes: The project is a wooden gingerbread house. 10AM to 11AM

Here’s an idea. Take your kids to all three tomorrow and do all your holiday shopping for free.
