Starbucks is offering all customers a free tall hot brewed coffee on Wednesday, July 4th, 2012. No coupon is necessary and you don’t have to purchase anything. CEO Howard Schultz writes about wanting to spark conversation among Americans, and suggests that sitting down together with a cup of coffee is a good way to get started.

September 29th, 2011 is National Coffee Day. Krispy Kreme is offering free coffee, no purchase necessary, on National Coffee Day. There are no Krispy Kreme locations in Charlotte, but there are locations in Matthews and Salisbury. Consult this list to find the location closest to you, in case you’re wandering around outside the Charlotte metro area.

September 29th is also Confucius Day. So in addition to the free coffee, here is a little free wisdom, courtesy of Confucius: Forget injuries. Never forget kindnesses.

All next week, Monday, February 28 – Friday, March 4, all (both existing and new!) fans of FABO Cafe’s facebook page receive a free 12 oz. cup of coffee.

FABO Cafe, 2820 Selwyn Avenue Suite 180, a store featuring regional visual and food artists, opened in October, in Tranquil Court on Selwyn Avenue. Owner Amy Aussieker offers local artists a forum to showcase their affordable, original artwork and strives to promote regional artists who help to make Charlotte unique. In addition to visual art, FABO offers food art, from vendors including Edible Arts, Beverlly’s Gourmet Foods and Dee Dee’s Cheese Straws.
FABO offers a full premium coffee bar with regular coffees as well as specialty lattes. Along with free WiFi, customers can enjoy breakfast pastries, cookies, brownies and more.
