The Providence Chamber Music Series’ March 10, 2024 concert, “Suite Strings”, features cellist Alan Black performing Johann Sebastian Bach’s Suite No. 5 in C minor for solo cello, BWV 1011. Tatiana Karpova and Oksana McCarthy open the program with Handel-Halvorsen’s Passacaglia in G minor for Violin and Cello.

The Piano Part 2
This bonus program features Francis Poulenc’s Sextet for Piano and Winds, Op. 100, and two North Carolina premieres for solo piano, dum spiro, spero and Inscription, by Ronald Keith Parks. Tomoko Deguchi (Parks’ selections) and Paul Nitsch (Poulenc) are the evening’s featured pianists.
