More information, from the listing on Charlotte Culture Guide:
The program, called, “The Three B’s: The Bachs, The Belgians and Bolcom”, will showcase familiar tunes in different contexts, obscure but worthy composers and the colorful and powerful capabilities of the new Vann Ness Hamrick Fisk, Op. 136 organ, completed at St. Peter’s in 2010. Included in the program are excerpts from J. S. Bach’s Sinfonia 29, Paul de Maleingreau’s Symphonie de la Passion, and one of William Bolcom’s Gospel Preludes. Monies from a free-will offering will go towards the maintenance of the organ and continued programming for the organ concert series.
Free parking, with validation at the church, is available in the Transamerica building across the street from the church, located at Tryon and 7th Streets in uptown Charlotte. A reception will follow in Martha Bowles Parish Hall.
