
Moms can celebrate Mother’s Day by visiting The Gardens at Stowe, 6500 South New Hope Road, Belmont, North Carolina, on Sunday, May 10, 2026. No discount is being offered for admission, but the first 500 moms to check in will receive a coupon for a free potted plant. Moms will also receive 30% off in the Big Leaf Cafe, Farmhouse Garden center and Trailhead Store.
The hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Other programming for Mother’s Day:
- A local vendor market on the Four Seasons Lawn featuring artisan goods, jewelry, treats, flowers and more.
- Live music throughout the day
- A special Mother’s Day card craft for the whole family inside The Great Hall
- A Natural View Art Show inside the Garden Pavilion

Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden is the largest garden in the Charlotte area, with 110 acres to explore, including the Four Seasons garden, the Canal Garden, Lost Hollow (an area for children), an Orchid Conservatory and more.
The Garden at Stowe is part of the Daniel Stowe Conservancy, which includes 380 acres. The trails and dog park in the conservancy are free to visit.
