Mint Hill Madness, a three-day festival, returns to Mint Hill’s Veterans Park, 8850 Fairview Road, Memorial Day Weekend. The festival, which celebrates the founding of the town, takes place Friday, May 27th, 2016, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, May 28th, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, May 29th, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The festival features live music, a carnival, an arts and crafts fair, a parade and fireworks. The parade begins 9 a.m. Saturday. Admission is free but there are charges for some activities. Other activities are the Battle of Mint Hill (a fitness competition) and the NFL Punt, Pass & Kick Competition for kids. Visit the Mint Hill Madness website for details.
