It starts Friday, May 16th 2014, at 10 a.m. and takes place on the Microsoft Campus at 8055 Microsoft Way. Experts will be available for support. It’s free but you need to register in advance. Here’s more info: The event is part of Microsoft’s 60 city global hackathon called, //publish/. The goal of these hackathons is to help developers get through the final mile of app building that is often a barrier for getting their app into the Store. This is an opportunity for developers to connect with their local community along with Microsoft engineers – there will be global, 24/7 support to assist participants in finishing their apps. The event is free but you must register to attend. Prizes will be awarded to showcase winners and there are special incentives to submit your app for publishing while at the event.
