Coco and the Director is a new coffee house in the heart of Uptown, at 100 West Trade Street. It features locally roasted single-origin coffees, wine, beer, and a menu overseen by Stoke Executive Chef Chris Coleman that includes sandwiches, salads, breads and pastries. Loose leaf teas are sourced from Charleston Tea Plantation, the only working tea estate in the U.S., located on Wadmalaw Island in South Carolina’s Lowcountry.
The retail nook showcases local foods, jewelry, tableware, stationery, men’s grooming products and more. This is a great place to shop for goods from local artisans.
Coco and the Director also includes three co-lab meeting spaces. The rooms are available to local entrepreneurs for meetings and brainstorming sessions with no minimum purchase.
