This free workshop, offered by the Charlotte Area Association of Black Journalists, would be great for anyone who wants to learn how to get information out to the public, or who is just interested in how the media works. It will be at the Sugar Creek Library, Saturday, June 26th, at 1pm.

Accessing the Media Workshop
Saturday, June 26, 1-3 p.m.
CAABJ presents this annual workshop for the community. Learn how to write press releases, how and where to send info to media outlets for news coverage, and get tips on how to get your story told. A panel of journalists, representing TV and radio stations, newspapers, magazines, the Internet and social media, will be on hand to discuss how their news cycles work and to answer your questions.
