Charlotte’s favorite evil clown (aka Martin Barry, the MC for the Charlotte Roller Girls) is planning the Evil Clown Bar Crawl, in order to collect school supplies for A Child’s Place, which benefits homeless children in Charlotte Mecklenburg public schools. The crawl takes place on Saturday, August 6th, starting at 4pm. Here’s how it works. Bring school supplies (suggested items are listed below) and start at Amelie’s French Bakery, 2424 North Davidson Street, at 4pm, where you can get a copy of the itinerary. Those bringing school supplies will get FREE clown makeup. The rest of the itinerary is below, and is subject to change. If you can’t make the first stop, you can donate school supplies at any of the stops.
A note from Charlotte on the Cheap: please also bring a designated driver.
