Contest: Pre-sale pass to Tot Trade 2/18
Tot Trade is one of the area’s biggest consignment sale for kids’ clothes and equipment. It’s held at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center, at 4751 Hwy. 49. It runs from February 19th to February 21st. If you want to save lots of money on spring and summer clothes for your kids, you don’t want to miss this.
The way the sale works, though, is that volunteers (who work very hard!) get to attend a pre-sale event on February 18th from 5pm to 9pm. You know what this means. They get first dibs!
But you have a chance to shop at the pre-sale too! Just leave a comment to this post saying something nice about the kid you’d be shopping for, and you’ll be entered in the contest. They have maternity cloithes too, so if you’re shopping for yourself, say something nice about yourself! Or the babydaddy. If you’re shopping for a baby who isn’t born yet, say something nice that you wish for your baby. I fully expect these comments to give me warm, glowy feelings!
And there will be FOUR, yes, 4 winners. 4 Charlotte on the Cheap readers will win these pre-sale passes.
The contest starts now and ends Tuesday, February 9th. Please make sure you’re checking this website and your email. I’m just passing the names and email addresses onto the Tot Trade folks, so I’m not hunting anybody down.
We have a beautiful baby girl that just turned 1 and a baby boy that is due in 8 weeks. Looking forward to going to the sale!
My 3 yr old boy has incredibly adorable curly hair, blue eyes and a great laugh. He cracks us up all the time! My 1 yr old boy is a blondie with the most beautiful blue eyes I’ve ever seen, and he gives me sweet, little kisses all the time. I love my boys! Hope I get to shop for them early!
I have 2 children- a girl who is 10 and a boy who is 7. In this day and age of “labels” and clothing status, it is nice to be able to take my children to this sale and have time with them to look through GREAT clothing that doesn’t break the bank by only getting 1 thing. I don’t have to overpay for what is considered “cool” by the standards set today. My kids enjoy meeting some of the others that are out with their families also. Thanks for this contest!!!
Proud father, trying to find a deal for my first handsome son who is four months and growing like a weed. Looking to have another soon so the wife will need some clothes for her beautiful self too. Hopefully another healthy child will be on the way,so clothes and other items are a must. God Blesses us many way and I am proud to be a husband, and father to my family.
I am shopping for two babies, one my great-niece Dakota who is 6 months, and the other is my BFF’s little boy Cullen who is 4 months! They are both the most wonderful babies, and as my “baby” turns 18 soon I am so blessed to have these angels in my life! Dakota is coming to visit her Aunt Niece as the girls call me soon and I need tons of stuff from the sale to keep her safe, comfortable and happy during her visit!
We have four kids but I will tell you a bit about our youngest. Lewis is the sweetest boy ever. He recently got a couple burns when he scalded himself and now he has chicken pox on top of it all! But does he whine or complain? Not a bit. He still smiles and gives us love. What a honey. Perhaps he has learned to be such a gentleman because he has three older sister? Who knows. All I know as that we love him bunches!

Ethan just had his first birthday February 2nd. He has blessed our (myself and my fiance) lives so much. We could never imagine life without him. He brings us joy day after day!

My baby girl turns one on April 1st so I can not wait to go get her some exciting toys and clothes for her birthday.
I have been to this sale in previous years and they have a wide variety of baby items that i can not wait until see with a second baby on the way.
My two year old daughter, Olivia, is the joy of my life. Every evening when I get home from work, she runs up to me for a big hug & kiss. Of course, I then have to give her Elmo, Pepper the bear, Little boy blue (Precious Moments doll), Kitty (her fake kitty cat statue that she thinks is real!), and our real dog Malachi a hug & kiss too. We then have to watch her Elmo DVD which is starting to become her favorite sentence…”Mom, I want to watch my Elmo DVD!” I never thought my two year old would know what a DVD is!
We are really excited to find more Elmo DVDs (we have now memorized the words to Elmo’s World-Head to Toe!), and more stuffed animals to add to her collection. We are looking forward to Tot Trade and hope we get to shop at the pre-sale by winning this contest!
My sweet almost 4 month old is the greatest blessing of my life!! She has give me a run for my money with acid reflux and a milk protein allergy, but even with all that going on, she is the cutest little girl. We recently had her 3 month pictures done and people are saying she should be the new Gerber baby. As a stay at home Mom – money is tight and I would love to get to shop early!!! I also usually shop for my god daughter who is 7 and 1/2 years old and such a special treat for me. She too has her own room at my house for her visits. Which is nice because she shares a room at her Dad’s house and pretty soon when her Mom remarries, she will share a room there too. We would love to be considered. Thank you!!!

Proud papa of a 1 year old boy with a baby girl on the way. I would love for my wife to be able to get some maternity clothes for herself and release her excitement for new girl clothes as well.
My daughter will be four months this weekend. She has been the best thing to ever happen to us. I don’t know where the time is going, but she is quickly growing out of all her clothes. She is a very happy little girl, she smiles all the time, and it is the cutest smile ever. I would love the opportunity to shop the pre-sale. I am a working mother so finding the time is a challenge, so going to the presale would be an amzaing opportunity since I won’t be able to make it till the weekend.
It seems like it was just yesterday when we had our daughter Rozalyn. She is the best thing that’s ever happen to me! It’s amazing how much love and joy children bring into our lives. With little one’s we all know how fast they grow. I would love to have an chance to able to attend the presale on Thurs. My daughter is 15 months, Spring and Summer are approaching and I’ld like to get a start on getting her some cute clothes. Thanks!
