Knights Stadium will host Winter Wonderful on Saturday, December 8th, 2012, from 10am to 2pm. This free event will feature a toy and coat drive, a tree lot for fans interested in purchasing that special tree, arts and crafts for children, face painting, holiday music and the appearance by Santa Claus. The entire event will take place in the Knights Stadium picnic area, which will be covered in snow. Fans are asked to enter through the picnic area gate located in Lot 6.
A table with Knights ticket packages will be available for fans interested in finding that special Knights gift this holiday season. Food and refreshments will also be available for purchase at the Kingsford Grill.
I’ve confirmed that not only will Santa be there, but a photographer will be on hand too, taking FREE pictures of kids with St. Nick. The pictures will be emailed to the parents. Parents are welcome to bring their own cameras as well.
Fans unable to make the event on Saturday can stop by Knights Stadium to donate a toy or coat during regular business hours (Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.). Any fan that donates a coat or a toy will receive $5 off of their tree. The last day to donate will be on Friday. December 21.
