Free Christmas event: Mistletoe Magic at Morrison 12/8/12

Morrison in Southpark, at 721 Governor Morrison Street, is hosting a free Christmas event for kids and adults. Mistletoe Magic is on Saturday, December 8th, 2012, from 12pm to 5pm. The schedule of events includes pony rides, train rides, Davidson UMC Handbell Choir, a caricaturist, photos with a baby kangaroo, visit from Santa Claus, stilt elves and jugglers, pet photos with Santa, cookie decorating at Earth Fare, carriage rides and strolling Dickens carolers. A toy drive is being held for middle school boys and girls. If you’d like to participate, bring an unwrapped gift to any of the Morrison merchants.

While you’re there do some holiday shopping. You’ll find Barnes & Noble, Scout & Molly’s, Capitol and more. You can find a list of all the stores and restaurants at Morrison on the Morrison Shopping Center Website. Also, through December 15th, they’re running a contest to win a $100 gift card.
