On Friday, December 7th from 5:30pm to 8:00pm, downtown Waxhaw will introduce “A Dickens of a Christmas” Living Windows. Seven storefront windows will have actors and actresses resurrecting scenes from the classic holiday novel, A Christmas Carol. Every half hour, visitors will be invited into the shops to experience these scenes with audio. In addition to this unique experience, there will be free carriage and trolley rides. There will also be a gallery crawl, live Nativity and special discounts at local eateries and shops. Victorian carolers and plenty of music will fill the air.
