Halloween ComicFest at Spandex City Comics 10/27/12

Spandex City Comics, at 3611 Mt.Holly-Huntersville Road, is planning to celebrate Halloween in a big way with Halloween ComicFest. On Saturday, October 27th, 2012, from 11am to 1pm, visit in costume. Be a part of a (hopefully) record setting group photo with the Imperial 501st Stormtrooper Legion and an 8-foot tall Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. Also experience an appearance by the Carolina Garrison of the Imperial 501st Legion Stormtroopers and photo opportunities with various costumed heroes. Get a free comic book (one per customer while supplies last), free door prize drawings, free Halloween snacks and a geek trivia contest.

The event will also kick-off Spandex City Comics’ annual holiday fundraiser for the Children’s Home Society of NC. Just purchase any new graphic novel to donate, and Spandex City will match the donations 100%.
