Free: Hunger Games Final Challenge Event 10/13/12

All are welcome to compete in the Hunger Games Final Challenge event at Cabarrus Arena and Events Center, 4751 US Highway 49 North in Concord, on Saturday, October 13th, 2012, from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free and parking is free as well.
The Hunger Games are all about survival of the fittest. Do you feel you have what it takes to survive the Final Challenge? As volunteers from your district, you have prepared and trained to enter the Cabarrus Arena for a gauntlet of challenges, puzzles, and physical trials. You will brave mud, water, and other elements as you compete to be the last standing tribute for your district. After the Final Challenge, we’ll award prizes for all of our contests and watch The Hunger Games on the big screen! Cabarrus County Parks Facebook page says to expect “obstacle, mud/water slides, spear throwing, giant tricycle races and more.” This event is sponsored by the Cabarrus, Rowan, Stanley and Union County libraries and parks.
