Free concert by Charlotte Concert Band 11/3/12

Charlotte Concert Band, a community band of about 95 members in the band who range in age from college students to septuagenarians, is presenting a free concert on Saturday, November 3rd at 8pm on the campus of Queens University in the Dana Auditorium, 1900 Selwyn Avenue. The program is entitled, “Songs from the Land of Hope and Glory,” and will feature selections by British composers, including Ralph Vaughan Williams, Gustav Holst, and William Walton, along with much more. as a tribute to London’s hosting of the Olympics this year.
