Free Blues and Jazz Festival for kids 10/6/12

The 8th Annual Blues & Jazz Festival takes place in York County, SC from October 4th, 2012, to October 6th. A new highlight of the festival this year is a FREE Blues and Jazz Festival for kids. The kids’ festival is being held at the Community Performance Center, located at 249 E. Main St., Rock Hill, SC, on Saturday, October 6th, 2012, from 11am to 3pm. The family-friendly festival includes food, music, an introduction to musical instruments used by blues musicians, Pickles Da Clown and much more.

Other parts of the festival are ticketed events. The kickoff event, on Thursday, October 4th, features Biscuit Miller at the Sylvia Theater in Rock Hill. On Friday, there’s a restaurant crawl through Old Town Rock Hill, with musicians at various locations, and the Grand Finale is at Community Performance Center in Rock Hill on Saturday Night.
