Whether you’re interested in fitness or eating human brains, the Zombie Run Challenge sounds like a lot of fun. Before the run, participants will be separated into two factions – zombies and humans. Before the race, special-effects gurus at Gregory F/X will provide zombie makeup to participants in exchange for a donation—100% of which goes to charity. The humans will attempt to evade the zombies while running a 5K and completing challenges at stations along the way. The zombies, meanwhile, will try capture the flags that the humans carry on their belts. Volunteers will attempt to thwart the zombies with foam darts. At this date, registration costs $40 plus $3.19 service fee. After a certain amount of time, prices will go up to $45 plus $3.47 service fee. With this Groupon, the cost is just $20, no service fee.
