Laps for Life – donate blood and get free NASCAR tickets and ride in NASCAR car 9/7/12

Charlotte Motor Speedway has teamed up with American Red Cross for Laps for Life Blood Drive on September 7th, 2012 from 11am to 8pm at Charlotte Motor Speedway. If you donate blood during this drive, you’ll receive a ride along with the NASCAR Racing Experience on the afternoon of the blood drive, two tickets to Bojangles Pole Night on October 11th at Charlotte Motor Speedway and a commemorative t-shirt. If you register by September 5th, you’ll also receive two tickets to the NASCAR Nationwide Series Dollar General 300 on October 12th at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The event will also feature appearances by mascots Lug Nut and Bloodhound, as well as entertainment and refreshments.

By the way, I did a ride along in a NASCAR car once and it was really fun, even though the driver wouldn’t follow my instructions when I kept yelling “go faster!” and “pass that car!”
