Shakespeare at the Green – The Tempest 5/31/12 – 6/17/12

The first half of Charlotte Shakespeare Festival is the very popular Shakespeare at the Green. The Green is on Tryon Street, across from The Bechtler Museum. The Tempest will be performed on Wednesdays through Sundays from May 31st, 2012 through June 16th. Wednesday through Saturday performances will be held at 8pm and Sunday performances will be at 6:30pm. On some nights there will be pre-performance activities. On Sundays there will be free Shakespeare workshops for kids 8 and up and adults. The Green is a beautiful place to enjoy the show. Bring lawn chairs and a picnic.

The performances are free, but donations are encouraged. $5 is recommended.
