Ecolicious, a store in Plaza Midwood selling eco-friendly products, is holding Charlotte’s first VegFest on Saturday, May 12th, 2012, from 10am to 4pm. Entry is free. There will be free samples of vegan and vegetarian foods from local restaurants, kids’ activities, a raffle for lots of prizes, and vendors. The event is benefiting North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue.
