Davidson celebrates its 41st annual Davidson Town Day on Saturday, May 5th, 2012, from 10am to 2pm, on the Village Green.

The schedule:

8:00 a.m. to noon: Davidson Farmer’s Market
8:30 a.m. Spartan 5K Race sponsored by the Community School of Davidson
10:00 a.m. – noon: Community Shred Event in the Police Department parking lot at Town Hall
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Davidson Police Department booth on the Village Green, where you can register your pet
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Livability Board and The Spirited Cyclist Bicycle Safety Check
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Games, food and entertainment on the Village Green
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Book signing of One Town, Many Voices on the Village Green
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Town Day T-shirts available for purchase at Town Hall booth on the Village Green
