PROJECT Trio brings a fun, new sound to the Charlotte Symphony Lollipop Series on Saturday, May 5th, 2012. Beat-boxing flutist Greg Pattillo, cellist Eric Stephenson and bassist Peter Seymour will be doing their own hip-hop version of Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf (set in their home town of Brooklyn, NY.) The show, at 11am in the Knight Theater, is specially geared toward children and their families.
PROJECT Trio’s mix of classical, jazz, hip-hop, and rock music, as well as a healthy dose of humor, engages both kids and adults and helps to foster an interest in music.
Tickets range from $12.50 to $25.50.
