Viva Verde Earth Fest at North Cabarrus Park 4/14/12

Celebrate Earth Day with many earth-related activities at North Cabarrus Park in Kannapolis. Viva Verde Earth Fest takes place on Saturday, April 14th from 10am to 3pm. There will be information booths, nature walks, geocaching, art contests, recycling, arts & crafts, music, children’s activities, paper shredding, food and more.

Shuttle service from Piedmont Farmer’s Market and CK Rider Transit Center will be available.

Geocaching

Every 30 minutes beginning at 10 am, Cabarrus County Parks staff will offer a geocaching activity. Please meet at the Dogwood Shelter.

Greenway Nature IDs

Every hour starting at 10 am, Cabarrus County Parks staff will host a greenway nature walk that includes plant, bird and wildlife identifications.

1pm – Tater Family Traveling Circus

2pm – Lyndsay Wojcik
