Tax Day freebies and deals

Whether you owe or are owed, tax returns are no fun. Some businesses are trying to make Tax Day (April 17th, 2012) a little more fun.

Panda Express will give a free single serving of its new Shanghai Angus Steak at participating locations April 17. Print out this coupon.

Arby’s will offer free curly fries on April 17th. Fill out the form for this coupon and bring it with you.

Chili’s is offering a free appetizer or dessert with an entree purchase April 16th through 18th. You’ll need to print out coupon.

Cinnabon will offer two free Classic Cinnabon Bites on April 17th from 6pm to 8pm at participating locations. To find out if your closest Cinnabon is participating, find their location and give them a call. They’re usually in malls.

HydroMassage will give free massages April 16th through April 18th. Get a coupon at www.hydromassage.com/taxday.htm and call ahead to make an appointment. I don’t see any locations in Charlotte. It seems that the closest one is in Statesville, but this might be a treat for readers in that area.

Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream is offering a free scoop of frozen yogurt from 4pm to 7pm on April 17th, 2012 at participating locations. I’m not sure you need a coupon, but if you do, print out one from Maggie Moo’s Facebook page. The only participating location in Charlotte is at Grande Promenade Shopping Center, 230 East WT Harris Blvd. If you’re not in Charlotte, find your
participating locations.

Office Depot is offering 25 single-sided black and white copies and up to five pounds of paper shredding for free through April 16th. No coupon needed.

Sonic Drive-In is offering half price slushies and drinks all day April 17th.

Einstein Bros. Bagels at 13736 Conlan Circle is offering free breakfast for the first 100 customers, starting at 5:30am.

Bruegger’s Bagels is offering its Big Bagel Bundle for just $10.40 from April 13th through 17th. This includes a baker’s dozen bagels and two tubs of cream cheese. This will save you up to $5. You’ll need a coupon, which you can find here.
