CMS Parent University is presenting a free event called Life Is Your Lab And Your Studio – Full STEAM Ahead 2012. The event is also referred to as CMS Parent University Spring Family Fun & Education Day. This event focuses on art and science and takes place along the Cultural Mile (from the Harvey B. Gantt Center to the McColl Center for Visual Art) on Sunday, April 15th, from 1pm to 5pm.
As part of this event, Mint Museum Uptown will offer free admission on Sunday, April 15th, from 1pm to 5pm. In addition the exhibits, there will be some free family activities: Investigate astonishing paintings inspired by botany and biology, use microscopes to view the cellular nature of plants and animals, and stretch your muscles AND your imagination with drop-in yoga and art projects!
