On Tuesday, May 1st, 2012, Charlotte Motor Speedway will host One Hot Fan Night. The event will be commemorating the 20th anniversary of the first All-Star Race to run under the lights at a modern super-speedway in prime-time. That race, the 1992 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race, will be shown on the world’s largest HDTV. Fans can enjoy it, drive-in movie style, from the infield.

The schedule:

5:30pm: Infield opens
5:30pm to 7pm: POWERADE Play Zone in infield, with inflatable bounce houses and Lug Nut, the world’s fastest mascot.
7pm: Fan forum, featuring Matt Kenseth, the 2004 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race winner, NASCAR Vice President of Competition Robin Pemberton and NASCAR on Fox broadcasters Larry McReynolds and Mike Joy.
7:30pm: showing of 1992 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race

Concessions will be available. Hot dogs will be just $1.
